eBay Motors ‘Click & Fit’ for tyres

No primary category set

Car TyresCar tyres are one of few things that I’ve never considered purchasing on eBay. Mainly because they’re big and bulky and I have no idea how I’d get them onto my rims!

Of course I’m sure I could drive them down to the local tyre company and they’d fit them for me, but even then a suit of new tyres probably wouldn’t even fit in the boot of my car – the penalty of not having a hatch back.

That’s now all changed with eBay’s Tyre Fitment in partnership with Black Circles. We’re all familiar with Click & Collect at Argos, now you can Click & Fit with Black Circle.

If you purchase new tyres for Click & Fit, the tyres will be delivered to the local fitting centre of your choice and all you have to do is turn up with your motor to have them popped onto your wheels.

You can arrange a time slot after purchasing your tyres and what surprised me was the number of local fitters available to pick from.

eBay Motors Tyres Click and Fit

The price you pay for your tyres includes fitting, so when you turn up there will be nothing to pay. The price you see on eBay is the price you pay.

I imagine that the only people who won’t love this service will be other tyre vendors who don’t have access to Click & Fit. Next time you’re in the market for new car tyres it’s worth checking out eBay Motors Click & Fit Tyres simply for the convenience.

Plus who doesn’t hate turning up just to find out that the tyre fitter has run out of budget tyres for your motor and only has the more expensive ones in stock?

  1. Don’t get this at all.

You can already do all of this through Kwikfit and probably others as well.

Some fitters now even come out to you to fit, so your car doesn’t leave the drive.

Book it all online in advance and job done.

Presumably they will be 10% dearer to recoup Ebay fees as well.

  2. Prices are the same as Blackcircles direct so I guess eBay has done a deal to get the idea of the ground.

No doubt they will have alienated all their other tyre sellers on eBay and it will lose eBay money and sellers in the long run

  3. our local tyre fitter buys his tyres in bulk and passes the discount on,
we dont even think about size or ratings ,he fits what we require & collects our car returns it with tyres fitted
    why would I use ebay?
