Whistl use iForce to add branded notifications

whistlWhistl have partnered with iForce to develop IRS (Intelligent Routing System) a bespoke carriage software for its multi-carrier single supplier packets and parcel service.

The software allows Whistl to collect all of a customer’s ecommerce large letters, packet and parcels (and any mail) in one go. With the integration of a selected range of UK and international carriers IRS enables Whistl to process, manage and track deliveries more efficiently.

iForceIRS also enables tailored, branded communications to be sent to the end consumer at chosen trigger points along the delivery process. Typical examples could be “Your parcels is arriving today” or “Your parcel has been left in your safe place”.

Whistl will largely appeal to retailers who traditionally use Royal Mail for large letters, packets and small parcels with some additional courier parcels. With Royal Mail about to introduce delivery confirmation for all parcels, Whistl need to step up their game to offer services which appeal to retailers and consumers alike. Notifications are definitely a winner.
