Could video ecommerce be the next big thing?

It’s one of those things that seems to have been on the cusp of happening for a decade: video ecommerce. We’ve had virtual reality shopping malls and product videos for a while but this service from inviid does seem new, plausible and attractive.

It enables YouTube video viewers to immediately click on a video they’re watching and start shopping.

It’s already integrated with Shopify and you can also use videos you’ve already produced and add the shopping features.

And you’ll want to see it in action. And this fitness video shows how you can engage with the products on display and add them to your cart. It features New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski using Inviid to turn his workout videos into an extension of his store.
