As you will have read previously on Tamebay, Amazon is really cracking down on reviews left by users with the aim making them as useful as possible and unskewed by incentives and freebies.
On top of the new rules about incentives, they are also making limits of what a shopper can post and will also be keeping their eyes peeled for flurries of reviews that may reveal something untoward. These new rules came into effect on Sunday.
You can find the full regulations from a buyer perspective on this page and it says: You can submit five non-Amazon Verified Purchase reviews each week, starting on Sunday. If we find unusually high numbers of reviews for a product posted in a short period of time, we may restrict these products to Amazon Verified Purchase reviews.
It’s important that Amazon reviews are as useful and informative as possible and these changes are a further step towards making them as valuable as possible.

Anyone have any tips for getting product ratings/reviews on eBay products? we’ve managed to get a grand total of 2 so far.
It’s important to note that Amazon Verified Purchase reviews will not be impacted.
Also, according to an Amazon rep, “this policy also does not apply to Vine reviews or reviews on digital and physical books, music, and video.”
