You know how sometimes the delivery guy tries just a little too hard? That’s what a Derbyshire woman thought when she got home to find her letter box had been broken and had a rather large protuberance poking down her hallway.
I can see exactly how this one went down. Ring Ring. No one at home. Not to worry I don’t need a signature, I wonder if this would fit through the letter box?
Oh damn, it’s stuck. What was that bang? It’s too late I’ve started now. It won’t come back out it’s going to have to go all the way in. Keep going. That’s it. Walk away nonchalantly, nothing to see here guys. Nothing at all to see, well not on the outside of the house anyway!
Once upon a time couriers would get away with this type of delivery experience. One customer would grumble and that would be the end of it. This however is the social media age and nothing gets shared faster on Facebook than a complaint with a hilarious picture and companies are named and shamed in no time as in this case.

What’s the problem with this. If you wish to know where your parcel is at any specific time we give you a 1 hour delivery slot.
Well a letterbox is a slot isn’t it?
