ParcelHero is organising a special Winter Workshop charity event for Great Ormand Street Hospital (GOSH) this Christmas; recapturing the excitement of traditional Christmas boxes. For many centuries servants, employees and tenants would receive an exciting Christmas box from their lord or boss on the day after Christmas: Boxing Day. ParcelHero’s charity make and auction captures the spirit of these exciting boxes.
Aiming to raise £1,500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, ParcelHero asked some of the world’s most talented craft makers and bloggers to decorate small wooden gift boxes with their own designs. They then fill these colourful boxes with delightful items that they wish to include; before ParcelHero collected them ready to auction on eBay.
Each of the boxes is on eBay with a 100% donation of the sale price going directly to Great Ormand Street Hospital. ParcelHero’s target for this year to raise £1,500 will be enough to cover the cost of a portable heart monitor. The first batch of Christmas boxes are now live on eBay so get your bids in to support a fantastic cause.
