It doesn’t sound like a problem that needs solving, but apparently there are people out there plagued by gift vouchers that they can’t use. Perhaps they were gifts or maybe just accrued through shopping excursions.
And the good news, apparently, is that you no longer need to waste them because Zeek will fly to the rescue. It’s a marketplace where you can buy or sell discount vouchers and coupons. I first noticed it on an advert on the Tube in London a few weeks back. You may well have been aware of it for many months.
When buying a voucher, it seems, that you can save a few quid here and there. Sellers will pass their unwanted vouchers on for a little less than face value. And you can claw back the majority of the value when you sell them too, therefore. Doubtless, this is good news for anyone on a budget where every single penny counts. But it does sound like a bit of a faff. Most gift cards and coupons can be transferred if you have the relevant number. Some, I suspect, will need to be posted in the mail.
The website does also provide you with discount vouchers from retailers and vendors so you can save on those gift card purchases you’ll likely be buying as gifts. And a saving is welcome there.
Have you come across Zeek before? Have you Used it? All commentary is most welcome.
