DPD Local Online, a new transactional courier website for consumers and small businesses throughout the UK.
Parcel2Go ’s White Label team worked with DPD to build the DPD Local Online site (formally Interlink Express), which marks the start of a new partnership DPDgroup.
“We’re pleased to be working with DPDgroup and to have been a part of the launch of their fantastic new brand.”
– David Sorensen, Managing Director Enterprise solutions at Parcel2Go
DPD Local Online replaces the former interlinkdirect.co.uk site and has been designed with modern users in mind. It combines industry-leading design and user experience intelligence to deliver a booking experience as easy as it is innovative.
Parcel2Go’s experience in providing fully managed enterprise solutions to a number of global and local courier brands, has proved instrumental in the efficient development of the DPD Local Online website. As you’d expect, the normal Parcel2Go bulk uploaders are in place for eBay, Amazon, Magento, Etsy, Prestashop, Shopify or CSV file.
Consumers will benefit from the fantastic DPD service and both consumers and small businesses can now easily book online to send a single parcel or to ship multiple parcels in one step. If you want to start shipping with DPD, log on to the DPD Local Online site today.

Not a good start.
Thought I’d get a quote for a small parcel.
1.25Kg, 33x20x11cm. From my Middlesex postcode to Ireland (southern).
Doesn’t allow me to do anything.
A pop-up with ‘please enter a valid postcode’ appears. Mine is correct, Southern Ireland (Galway) doesn’t have postcodes and there is no option box available for Ireland postcodes even if it did.
Sigh…….
Prices aren’t bad but upstoday.com (also run by Parcel2Go) are a little better. Especially when their loyalty discount is applied http://www.upstoday.com/content/offers
Good luck with UPS delivering your parcel in one piece.
We’ve tried several couriers and this is probably the best we found for our UK deliveries. It depends what you’re after though as each courier has got its own specificity. For example, some charge per box, others for the entire consignment weight, others for the volumetric weight. It’s worth shopping around to find out which one suits best your business model but for us DPD Local is by far the best. The fact it’s a franchise business model means that the local depot deals with us directly. We have a local account manager who makes sure we’re well looked after and who can easily be reached by phone. They do everything they can to accommodate us like for example arranging 2 collections a day during the peak Christmas period. They provide an invaluable service to our business.
