eBay’s listing enhancements will cost you more from the end of the month, so it’s time to assess what works for you and what doesn’t.
On the upside, if you have a Featured or Anchor shop subscription, from the 1st of April you’ll have a £10 or £20 credit to use on listing enhancements which could mitigate the increase in prices.
As an example, if you are a heavy user of Subtitles your cost per listing is about to increase by 13p. The £10 with a featured shop will give you subtitles on 77 listings and your net fee increase will be 1p. (77 x 13p = £10.01). With an Anchor shop, you can use 154 subtitles with a fee increase of 2p (154 x 13p = £20.02).
If you previously haven’t used listing enhancements but have a Featured or Anchor shop, test using the features to find out if they increase your sales velocity or selling price. If you use the auction-style format you might for instance try adding a Buy It now to 20 (Featured) or 40 (Anchor) listings per month.
