DPD move into new South Gloucestershire distribution centre

No primary category set

DPD are about to move into their new distribution centre near Bristol meaning that they’ll be able to provide even better service to customers in the region, although with DPD’s reputation for reliability, tracking and predictive delivery slots it’s hard to imagine how they could improve further.

The £12 million South Gloucestershire distribution centre which as well as distribution facilities will incorporate a customer pick up desk, is 68,792 sq ft and over 100 jobs will be created in the area once the depot is fully operational.

“Vertex Park is part of a wider, national infrastructure investment programme for DPD. “State-of-the-art distribution centres like this give us a huge advantage over our competitors in terms of automated efficiency and scale, as well as making sure we have capacity for future growth”
– Louise Ferguson, DPD General Manager of property

The new location is at Vertex Park, Emersons Green, a prime location providing excellent transport links, as it is adjacent to the M4 motorway.
