Parcelly have signed a deal with children’s charity Barnardo’s which will see their service available in 90 Barnardo’s stores across Birmingham and Liverpool with expansion into Manchester in the second week of June. A nationwide roll out to all Barnardo’s stores will take place in the coming months.

Parcelly’s proposition is convenient Click and Collect. Customers get full control over where and when to collect their parcel deliveries from 1,200 outlets in over 50 cities, which with the Barnardo’s partnership will rapidly expand to almost 2,000 locations.

One of the nice things about Parcelly from a consumer perspective is that you can buy from any online retailer and simply choose your preferred Parcelly location and enter their address and a unique collection code as the delivery address. The retailer ships your parcel and you get notified when it’s ready for collection.

As a retailer you can also embed Parcelly’s click and collect service direct into your website so that consumers can select a collection location at checkout.

Parcelly are keen on Corporate Social Responsibility and highlight the environmental impact of multiple parcels being dropped off at a single collection point and the Barnardo’s partnership continues this theme – doubtless some users may make purchases in the Barnardo’s shop that they collect their item at or possibly donate some unwanted goods when they make a store visit. Barnardo’s also gain an income from each parcel collected with 100% of the profits reinvested in the charity.
