Video interview with Tophatter and their proposition for sellers

Tophatter is an interesting marketplace, it’s based on auctions but cuts out the traditional online 7 day wait for the auction to end. Tophatter aims to run auctions in as little as a minute with the only delay being a further 10 seconds added after each bid in case you want to up your offer.

We wanted to find out more, so spoke to their UK rep, Neil Tunbridge who shared some more insight into Tophatter, how the marketplace works, what type of product works well and the potential for online retailers.

Neil also explains how their Million Dollar Seller offer works to ensure that for the first month of selling on Tophatter, if you meet the requirements, they won’t let you lose money – essentially they’ll underwrite your desired selling price so if an auction fails to meet your expectations then you won’t be out of pocket.
