Toyseek UK marketplace to launch September 2017

Gameseek’s website says that over 100 retailers and individuals have registered to sell on the new Gameseek marketplace which we announced in May this year. Now they’re preparing to launch a brand new online marketplace called ToySeek.com due to go live on September 2017 in time for the busy Q4 and Christmas.

The Gameseek marketplace is built with Mirakl, so if you’ve already integrated with a Mirakl marketplace (e.g. Halfords, ePrice, BestBuy, Darty, Privalia or GAME) then you’ll be familiar with the platform and hooking up to sell on Gameseek or the new Toyseek marketplace will be simple. They also support ChannelAdvisor and Linnworks so users of these multichannel solutions can be up and running with the minimum of fuss.

CEO Stephen Staley is keen to launch the UK’s first specialist Toy marketplace ahead of more traditional retailers such as ToysRus and Smyths Toys who might be expected to launch some time in the future.

“We realised early on in our history the significance and importance of the Toy market. Whilst we are deeply passionate about our gaming roots, we have always been aware of the potential opportunities and contribution we can bring to the hugely diverse Toy marketplace”.
– Gameseek CEO Stephen Staley

As well as access to millions of Gameseek customers (yes they’re a retailer so already have customers to drive to your offers), Gameseek offer £0.00 insertion fees, £0.00 set up fees, £0.00 monthly fees and a simply commission structure (either 6% or 10% dependant on category). It’s worth realising that transactions are processed by Gameseek so there are no payment processing fees to pay. Seller remittances are every 10 days.

You can sign up to both the GameSeek and ToySeek marketplace at gameseek.co.uk/marketplace

  1. Yeah, it looks like Gameseek will port your products over to Toyseek if you want to be on both marketplaces. I can’t see any reason as to why not to either, cool stuff!

  2. We certainly will, Ryan. Anyone who signs up for GameSeek Marketplace has the option of having their stock listed on ToySeek too. As GameSeek Marketplace Partners they will get the same zero fees/low commission benefits.
GameSeek Marketplace is about to go live on 31st of September, so if people want to get their free ToySeek Marketplace account, they need to sign up quickly
