Just Eat win the 2017 Tamebay Ecommerce Cup

On Thursday evening 32 teams met to compete in the Tamebay Ecommerce Cup – the fifth time the tournament has been held and the biggest event ever.

We’d like to thank every single player and supporter that turned up as well as the Post Office who were the sponsors for the Tamebay Ecommerce Cup 2017.

Even after moving to a new bigger venue, it immediately became apparent that the bar was too small for the team briefing which was swiftly moved onto one of the pitches to accommodate close to 300 players who competed in the tournament.

As always there were some hard fought matches and we’ll be publishing the full results soon, but a huge congratulations go to Just Eat who won though the group stages followed by the quarter, semi and final to be crowned Tamebay Ecommerce Cup 2017 Champions and take home the trophy which was presented by Tamebay and Max Warren from the Post Office.

An honourable mention has to go to the guys from Wholesale Clearance, twice winners in previous years but this year they had to settle for the runners up place narrowly beaten in the final by Just Eat.

Tamebay Ecommerce Shield Winners 2017

This year the tournament was so big that the top 16 competed for the cup and the next 8 played for the shield which was won by the Royal Mail.

With 32 teams playing in the Tamebay Ecommerce Cup 2017, we’re already planning an even bigger event for 2018. If your company have a team that can deliver the results look out for dates next year and it could be you crowned the official Tamebay Ecommerce Cup Champions!
