There’s a marketplace for everything. And if you’re in the ranks of the super-rich then a specialist service from Bloomberg called Posh is for you. It’s being dubbed as a posh Gumtree And it’s targeted at the haves and have yachts..
To get a flavour of what’s up for sale check out this BuzzFeed article noting super expensive watches, serious cars, eye-wateringly pricey pads and holiday homes as well as a smattering of yachts and planes. The most expensive single listing on Posh is a £10 million beach mansion in Miami.
The £11,500-per-year online network run by financial information company Bloomberg and users are required to sign in using a fingerprint scan.
The Bloomberg Professional service also features the marketplace feature where you can buy and sell as you do on Gumtree or eBay And it’s estimated there are 320k users. Other dedicated section are called Fly which assists with top-end travel. Also included in the Lifestyle offering is Dine that helps with restaurant bookings and reviews.
Perhaps what’s most striking about the service is how ugly and unsophisticated it looks. It certainly doesn’t have the finessed look and feel you would expect from such an exclusive and expensive provider. That doubtless reflects its origins as a financial information service.

‘Posh gumtree’ is Radio H-P, the invite-only classified listings site with 8000 members profiled in The Sunday Times last week.
Not sure why you’ve rehashed a three-year-old article on the classified section of Bloomberg Terminal, which with 325000 subscribers is considerable less selective.
