The guys at wnDirect are proud to be supporting Wrap Up London for the third year, using their logistics network to collect old and unwanted coats for vulnerable people.

Wrap Up began with just London asking members of the public to give their old coats new life by donating them to charity. They have now expanded to Wrap Up Manchester, Wrap Up Birmingham and Wrap Up Glasgow. The coats are then distributed directly to those most in need, who struggle to keep warm during the winter months. The donated coats are distributed via homeless shelters, refugee centres, elderly organisations, women’s refuges, children’s centres and various other charities.

This year’s Wrap Up campaign is running until the 24th of November. Coats can be dropped off directly into the hands of the Wrap Up team at London Underground stations across the network.

wnDirect have also teamed up with the people at Collect+ so people who aren’t able to deliver a coat to one of the collection points in London, can do so using their logistics network. The first 250 delivery labels are completely free to download and can include as many coats as you like up to 10kg in a package that is up to 50 x 50 x 60cm in size. After that it is a mere £3.75 to donate as many coats as you can fit within a Collect+ parcel and do something great this winter.

Whilst the general idea is for the public to donate coats which they no longer need, if you’ve some old stock of winter coats in your warehouse that just haven’t shifted then why not consider donating these to a great cause?
