Instagram have started to expand shopping beyond Feed to Instagram Stories with Instagram clickable shopping bag icons. Instagram Stories is a feature that lets users post photos and videos that vanish after 24 hours in a Snapchat style feature.
“Instagram isn’t just a place of inspiration, it’s also a place of action, and we know that inspiration can come from anywhere. On Instagram Stories, when you see a sticker with a shopping bag icon tap on it to see more details about that product.”
Starting with brands like Adidas and Aritzia to Louis Vuitton, Instagram say they recognise people shop for these brands around the world and now you can shop these businesses in Instagram Stories.
Brands have been early adopters of Stories on Instagram and create some of the most engaging content on the site. Shoppers are highly engaged with Stories with 300 million using them every day and increasingly people are finding products that they love. Now when a shopper finds new products that are relevant to them they can shop them from right within the Story with the Instagram clickable shopping bag icons.

Where do you get the tags from in the first place, so much easier if my buyers could just click through, other instagrammers seem to have them.
