Online marketplace and retailer Zalando will be retaining the services of PostNord until 2021 according to an announcement. In the statement, they say that the shipping partner offers good value and good service to them and merchant partners and that means they are extending the partnership.

Since our expansion to the Nordics, PostNord proved to be a reliable partner for Zalando, increasing the level of convenience and therefore customer satisfaction. One of the aspects of the Zalando service is how, whilst also being a retailer in its own right, it also facilitates logistics for third party 3P merchants selling via its very popular marketplace. Zalando is a massive retail phenomenon in Europe. It’s particularly popular in Germany, where they boast 95% brand recognition amongst adult shoppers.
And Zalando has also been expanding into other countries in recent years by opening fulfilment centres in Sweden and Belgium in 2017. It has also gaining in popularity in the UK and elsewhere. They operate in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and the UK.
The latest figures to hand say that they have 20 million active buyers and a 7.4% share of the Western Europe fashion market that totals $42bn. But we expect the more accurate figure is greater.
