Are you ready for ready for international expansion?

No primary category set

On the 14th of November we’ll be holding the second webinar in our Autumn International selling series in partnership with WorldFirst. Titled Making the right choice on where to trade abroad the webinar builds on the first in the series which discussed how to recognise when you are of a sufficient size and scale to maximise on overseas opportunities. If you missed the first webinar you can still watch it here.

How do you know when you’re poised and ready for international expansion, where to trade abroad and which countries to target is the next question to answer. In our second webinar, we’ll be examining specific international markets, highlighting the hottest regions and offering lessons learned from online retailers and sellers to help you avoid some of the common pitfalls.

The webinar will cover:

  • The past, present and future international market heat map
  • The markets most suited to certain types of online businesses and the categories they sell in
  • How to hurdle country-specific obstacles

You’ll benefit most from this webinar if you already operate at scale on marketplaces in the UK and are ready to grasp the opportunity that serious and methodical international expansion has to offer.

You’ll need to register in advance to attend the webinar which will also enable us to send you a reminder alert on the day that the webinar takes place. If you can’t attend in person on the 14th of November at 11am, register anyway and we’ll send you a recording of the webinar to watch later.

This webinar series is based on the findings of a White Paper – How to master International success – which is free to download

  1. 58% of Amazon UK active sellers are also selling on Amazon marketplace in Germany, 55% in France, 51% in Italy & 47% in Spain.

33% of Amazon UK sellers now sell on all 5 Amazon marketplaces. See https://ukonlinestores.co.uk/top-amazon-uk-european-sellers/ for more details.

International selling by Amazon UK sellers has increased significantly even since early 2017 but there are many more sellers & UK online businesses that can start looking to sell abroad.

Information examining specific international markets, identifying the hottest regions and potential pitfalls is much needed. I am looking forward to this webinar.

  2. What happened to Amazon doing their own version of ebay GSP? There was news of it earlier this year, but I’ve not seen anything since.
