The marketplace’s new job advertisement shows that the company is now looking to take onboard employees that have expertise in robotics, mechanical engineering and software development to start working on a project that involves a “new best in class consumer product,” as reported originally in The Telegraph. The future developers of the device need to have experience in putting together applications that work via human voice-activation or gestures and game applications for mobile phones. Amazon also are asking for future experts from the fields of psychology, environment to join their forces to work together on a gadget that will have human aspects as well as robotic. The fully-fledged skillset, says the marketplace, will require the new workers to “create the most engaging play experience for our customers.”

The job for the upcoming product that is now advertised as “lovable” and “essential” will require the future employees to hold on for the full details of the initiative to be revealed on the first day on the job.

The job criteria is now displaying more than 100 of job position for the secretive project’s role in Seattle and California, the home of the new project.

These news come as Amazon introduces its new augmented reality (AR) feature for Black Friday. But, as a couple of us at Tamebay have tried using the new 3-D tool, which promises shoppers to get a piece of mind by viewing products in their home environment before purchasing, and managed to not the find the feature in the app. As excited as the project seems, will we the “new best in class consumers product’ work seamlessly from the start and will Amazon live up to its own promises?
