Making the right choice on where to trade abroad webinar
This Wednesday, the 14th of November the first of the week’s Tamebay events takes place as we hold the second webinar in our Autumn International selling series in partnership with WorldFirst. Titled Making the right choice on where to trade abroad the webinar builds on the first in the series which discussed how to recognise when you are of a sufficient size and scale to maximise on overseas opportunities.
Having built a sizeable business in the UK and know that you’re poised and ready for international expansion, where to trade abroad and which countries to target is the next question to answer. In our second webinar, we’ll be examining specific international markets, highlighting the hottest regions and offering lessons learned from online retailers and sellers to help you avoid some of the common pitfalls.
The webinar will cover:
- The past, present and future international market heat map
- The markets most suited to certain types of online businesses and the categories they sell in
- How to hurdle country-specific obstacles

Pre-Black Friday Online Seller Network Meetup
On Thursday this week, the 15th of November the last Online Seller Network meetup of you year will take place in London, conveniently close to Paddington mainline station for those coming in from the West and close to Lancaster Gate Tube for those in the city.
Naturally, this close to Black Friday last minute tips on how to maximise your sales over this busy period will be top of the agenda for the discussion panel. There to answer your question will be Daniel Mayhew – Country Manager, Payoneer, Simon Majtlis, Flexport and Chris Dawson from Tamebay – moderated by Helen Parker from The Wholesale Community. Of course if you have any other marketplace or ecommerce questions you’d like to ask it’s an open panel and your peers will be there to give their help and advice as well.
