Amazon secures 30th spot as the US biggest business in a public survey

Amazon have secured 30th rank as the US biggest business in an annual public survey conducted in a conjunction with Forbes and Just Capital.

The marketplace have secured a reasonable spot in ‘The 2019 Just 100 list,’ which ranks 890 of the US publicly-traded businesses based on public attitudes towards each of the company.

The Top 100 list is aimed at highlighting the leading corporate citizenship and giving businesses an understanding of areas of improvement. The US public judges businesses to determine the best and worst practices across nine criteria. These include fair employee pay, customer service and protection of their privacy, quality of products, minimal environmental impact, local community support, as well as a commitment to ethical and diverse leadership, and abundance of job opportunities.

The US public has given Amazon a number one spot in customer service sub-category, highlighting shoppers’ content with the supplier. The supplier’s job opportunities creation isn’t so popular with the US consumers as they place it at to 11th spot, following their work treatment at 118th position. This is closely followed by the supplier’s effect on the environment (403), community support (481) and ethical and diverse leadership (595).

Last week, Amazon continued pleasing their customers as they have reminded them of the extended Christmas delivery hours via Amazon Prime Now. Prime Now-eligible shoppers in selected postcodes are able to order as late as 10pm on Christmas Eve. The marketplace’s mission is to be the Earth’s most customer-centric company and their shopper-obsession is manifesting in the continual drive for innovations.
