What are your cut off times for Christmas delivery? Amazon Prime Now is set to see consumers that qualify for the fast delivery service in selected postcodes ordering as late as 10pm on Christmas Eve.
Prime-eligible consumers living in the UK cities including London, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Portsmouth, South Yorkshire and Glasgow are able to obtain last-minute goods before 25th December 2018.

Benefits for sellers
Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) merchants, which qualify for Prime products will be able to stay on top of customer expectations and competition this Christmas as a result of accelerated and free delivery service. This will serve as a differentiator for FBA-eligible sellers as their products will appear more attractive to shoppers at the time when last minute purchases come in handy. This also indicates that non-FBA merchants would lag behind sellers that will see a financial benefit from greater exposure of their Prime-eligible goods.
Amazon Prime Now Christmas Eve results
Amazon have announced today that Prime Now service bore the fruits of last-minute festive orders last Christmas Eve. Consumers have bought gifts via Amazon Prime Now including Beyonce Heat Perfume, Fire HD 8 Tablet with Alexa, Monopoly Ultimate Baking Game, and Morrisons smoked salmon between the hours of 4pm and 9:59pm on 24th December 2017.
Amazon also says that shoppers’ late-hour purchases were focused on buying foods and beverages to top-up their Christmas dinner offering. The list of essential table-dinner goods includes Morrisons Christmas Pudding, Morrisons Wensleydale With Cranberry and Bisto Gravy Granules as well Bottega Gold Prosecco, Gallo Family Rose Wine and Taylors Vintage Port.
“Enjoying the festive break is hugely important for customers, making convenience an absolute priority. Last year Amazon saw a variety of items purchased with only hours to spare before Christmas Day, including food and drink, beauty gifts, toys and tech. Prime Now deliveries can be made in one or two hours slots on the same day which means customers can save the day by ordering and taking delivery of gifts and essential must-haves on Christmas Eve, whilst enjoying time with family and friends.”

Merchants still have time to register for FBA to reap the benefits of late-hour and accelerated delivery service offered by the marketplace. FBA-eligible sellers are able to enjoy seamless management of their goods when it comes to tracking, customer service and returns handling across Europe.

I bet Amazons big fat cats are all sat around enjoying the festivities with their families and not answering the phones or working.
After all if you have not bought what you need before then its your own fault. After all Xmas happens every year it does not come as a surprise and guess what it even happens on the same date the 25th December.
Every time someone places an order they should just pause and think of the poor soul they are forcing to work last minute. As somewhere along the line it will be impacting their own extended family or friends.

I now someone in the northern Amazon warehouse and they put a notice up in September asking for volunteers and it needed 55 people they got 6. Then they were told who is working and if you don’t agree to it we will have to look at your position here going forward.
Just like the time monitors on loo visits within the warehouse.
So yes in the legal world where everyone abides by the law you dont have to work but in the real world where big business do as they please you do.
