The annual five a side football tournament, The Ecommerce Cup 2019, is now just three months away and will be held on the 13th of June 2019. If you’ve not booked your team in yet then it’s time to do so as we’re half way to full capacity and in previous years have unfortunately been sold out and had to turn teams away.
Hosted by Tamebay, InternetRetailing, eDelivery and RetailX the The Ecommerce Cup 2019 is the one event of the year where businesses across the marketplace world come together and, whilst rivalries aren’t exactly set aside on the field, players can network with their colleagues across the industry and the field reads like a who’s who of the ecommerce world. In previous years we’ve had friends who have switched companies playing alongside CEOs and senior directors and naturally when the games are played there’s a general migration to the bar.
Typically you’ll be up against teams from merchants, marketplaces, carriers, multichannel management and solution providers. Any business that’s involved in ecommerce is welcome to play and, whilst it’s five a side, we’d recommend you bring a few subs as you’ll be playing a lot of football and it’s fast paced so you’ll want a breather to rest your legs!
The Ecommerce Cup 2019 event will run from lunch time through to the evening giving teams more playing time, more matches than ever before and more recovery time between matches.
We are returning to what’s become the new home for the Ecommerce Cup, Play Football in Shepherd’s Bush and are taking over the complete facilities for the day. Your team registration fee covers all venue hire, professional referees and prizes. Your team registration covers up to 8 people – 5 players and 3 subs.
There are full bar facilities at the venue and a Hog Roast will also be onsite.
