Lengow’s new Fruugo integration gives access to 32 countries

Lengow have announced a new Fruugo integration giving access to the UK marketplace within their multichannel offer enabling merchants to manage their Fruugo marketplace sales through Lengow.

Although based in the UK, Fruugo is a global marketplace available to shoppers in 32 countries, 17 languages and 22 currencies. Marketplace retailers can showcase their offers to international shoppers without the need for translation or price conversion – simply tell Fruugo what products you want to offer in which countries through a data feed and Fruugo do the rest.

With easy onboarding through the partnership with Lengow, Fruugo operates on a “no sale, no fee” basis to the retailer, simply charging a commission when a customer buys their products. Traffic generation, language translation, currency conversion, payment processing and international customer service translation is all provided for free.

Fruugo’s seamless technology means that the shopper automatically views and purchases all products in their home currency and language, irrespective of the retailer’s locale. Fruugo is fully integrated with major international payment methods (Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Klarna, etc.), along with a wide selection of “local payment methods” relevant to each shopper’s particular country. This means that retailers can target countries which previously they perhaps viewed as too complex or expensive to launch in with the new Lengow Fruugo integration.

“We’re extremely happy to welcome Fruugo on board, and to assist the marketplace in its extension into the European market. “Through this new collaboration, our merchants are offered access to new markets and previously untapped revenue streams. With even more countries launching in Fruugo’s Global Marketplace in coming months, the company aims to give all shoppers a truly global shopping experience, while at the same time providing retailers, including those on Lengow, access to new markets.”
– Frédéric Clement, CMO, Lengow

“Fruugo has a wide range of feed management and channel partners to help onboard retailers easily to the marketplace. We knew from the onset that partnering with Lengow would be a great move for Fruugo’s continental European expansion into France, Spain and Benelux. Fruugo is already helping Lengow’s retailers gain significant incremental revenue.”
– Ted Hettich, CSO, Fruugo

If you’d like to know more about Lengow and the Fruugo integration, they will be holding a webinar on the 18th April to show you how to use Lengow to sell on key marketing channels — using Fruugo marketplace as an example
