A European online wholesale platform, Somoscompra connects merchants and suppliers to buy and sell wholesale products in Europe.
The platform launched last year with an aim to offer sellers the opportunity of working with more than 500 European suppliers. It’s available in eight languages including English, Dutch, French, Polish, Spanish, German, Italian and Hungarian.
Some 33,000 merchants have already joined the platform. Among users of Somoscompra, 36% of active sellers are between 35-44 years old. The second largest demographic is between 25-34 years old (27%), followed by those between 45-54 years old (19%), and 55 to 64 years old (less than 10%).
The platform currently boasts 450,000 products in-stock. The products categories that are available for merchants to acquire from suppliers on Somoscompra include home and decoration (18.12%), followed by fashion and accessories (16.8%), articles with licenses (13.66%) as well as drugstore and cosmetics (11.07% ).

The platform offers merchants a rating system which allows them to rank suppliers with whom they had partnered. This means that sellers’ feedback will help other merchants in choosing a trusted and reputable service provider.
How to join?
All merchants are welcomed to join the platform for free, here. However, the platform works with suppliers located within the European Union to accelerate the delivery of goods and ensure that all products comply with the EU regulations and standards.
