There’s a Flash Sale on eBay UK today with 10% off sale across their entire site. The Flash Sale on eBay UK runs from midday on Friday through to midnight on Saturday night.
A full 36 hours sale across the entire eBay site is unusual so no excuses this time that people didn’t get enough notice. eBay are running promos across the site and mobile app notifying customers that the sale is on, describing it as “Whether it’s a last-minute Father’s Day gift or a mid-month treat for yours truly, eBay is brightening up a gloomy June by knocking 10% off everything onsite“.
You may wish to prepare for an early start on Monday as hopefully you’ll have a bumper weekend’s sales and a busy day picking and packing in the warehouse to start the week off.
This is 10% off everything and eBay are offering a mammoth 3 redemptions per customer (user ID). There’s a minimum spend of £50 and a maximum discount of £100. This means that if you place three £1000 orders on eBay you’ll get £300 in total off your weekend shopping spree.
On top of this, where there was previously up to 40% off on selected Microsoft products, if you’re in the marketp for a new laptop, then you can now get an additional 10% off the already discounted price, with the use of this coupon, including the Microsoft Surface Laptop with a 14 inch screen.
As usual there are some terms and conditions, not least of which is that you’ll only get your 10% discount if you successfully enter the discount code PRICEWIN in the eBay checkout.

What’s different about this Flash Sale on eBay UK
Generally when we see a Flash Sale on eBay UK the minimum spend is around £20. This time the minimum spend of £50 indicates that eBay are looking to drive higher average basket sizes and the option to redeem the coupon three times per account bears this out.

Must have spare £3K floating about here to get my £300 worth of discount…
Anyone else postage rate tables aren’t working on eBay at the minute?
We’ve had a few orders from highlands and Islands without the surcharge applied.
Seems like the extra postage charge shows up against the listing straight after a search, but when a customer goes into the listing to make a sale, the surcharge isn’t applied.
Spend £3000 on Ebay – thats brave
As usual with these flash sales, we only get to hear about it after it has finished. Why is this in today’s news when it finished 2 days ago? Why didn’t eBay shout about it?
Gav, I read Tamebay posts every day, in full, without fail. Today was the first time this article was in my feed (just checked to make sure I was awake), so it is really not down to me. This article is is today’s feed, so I reasonably expect it to be today’s news. It’s not the first time this has happened, thus my initial post.
yep this article was posted Friday – but we didnt see any noticable upturn – did anyone else?
