eBay Canada have announced the introduction of PayBright instalment payment provider to the marketplace.

The move will see eBay offering their shoppers to pay for their purchases in instalments for existing PayBright users. eBay say that the integration aims to create a “fast and easy instalment payment solution to more Canadians” and “add another leading merchant to their platform.”

What is PayBright?

PayBright is a Canadian consumer lender and payments platform focused on instant point-of-sale instalment payment plans for ecommerce and in-store transactions. Merchants can have their customers approved for affordable monthly payments online or on-location using desktop, tablet, or smartphone interfaces. It provides consumers with virtual credit accounts they can use to make purchases at participating merchants.

The offering will see Canadian consumers receiving instant approval for a virtual prepaid VISA card to complete their purchase. Shoppers can repay the supplier in bi-weekly or monthly instalments.
