iBuy2Give new marketplace recruiting sellers

No primary category set

iBuy2Give is a new marketplace, launching to raise money for charities, and today they’ve announced that they are ready to onboard merchants.

First up, you may well be charitably minded, but why should you be interested for your business? The reason is that iBuy2Give already have hundreds of registered charities on the platform and those charities are highly motivated to encourage their supporters to use the site. Any charity (or organisations that might not be a registered charity like schools) can register on the platform to raise money and encourage their members and supporters to shop there. Customers will likely pay the same price as they would on other platforms and when they make a purchase a cut of iBuy2Give’s commission is donated to the charity of their choice. This means you get the price you want and simply pay the commission on the successful sale.

The one thing new marketplaces struggle with is attracting buyers and iBuy2Give has this nailed through the charity networks, so now they are ready for merchants to upload their products and they have tools to help you do this (e.g. a Linnworks integration and other tools for non-Linnworks users).

“Our main aim is to donate 35% of all our fees directly to Charities and Good Causes, chosen by the Shopper at check-out. We recognise that there is little point in trying to launch a marketplace without a well-defined and large target audience. We have been over-whelmed by the reaction and support from Charities right across the UK. Pre-launch we have already registered over 850 Charities, and that number is growing daily. Charities are always looking for innovative ways to raise money, but conscious also that household budgets are under pressure. Supporters who buy from ibuy2give, at the same price as elsewhere, can now do so with the knowledge that their purchase is also making a difference and helping others…without them spending a penny more!”
– Kevin Turner, Founder, iBuy2Give

The proposition couldn’t be simpler, use simple tools to upload your products, Charities will encourage their members and supporters to shop to support their cause, you get sales and iBuy2Give donate to the charity of the buyer’s choice.

If you’re interested in being one of the first merchants you can sign up here. We’ll be back in the near future with an update when the public launch is under way.
