Magento Amazon Sales Channel Extension for Amazon UK launched

No primary category set

Since the launch in May this year of the Magento Amazon Sales Channel Extension in the US, Canada and Mexico, there has been strong adoption from Magento merchants. Hundreds of brands have downloaded the extension and are now managing over 200K product listings on Amazon. Magento report that the gross merchandise volume has doubled month over month, and the number of sellers with product listings on Amazon has also increased close to 20% month over month as well.

Now at MagentoLive Europe 2019, Adobe have announced the Magento Amazon Sales Channel Extension for Amazon UK. It aims to remove barriers to entry for merchants trying to gain a foothold on Amazon by allowing them to quickly integrate their catalogue, establish a bi-directional data flow and start managing listings from their Magento admin.

By seamlessly integrating their Magento store with multiple Amazon accounts and regions, merchants can make their Magento Admin the central hub for all their critical Amazon marketplace activities, thereby reducing data silos, removing operational friction, and eliminating additional integration costs.

Support for additional European territories (Germany, France, Italy, Spain) will be coming next year. It’s also worth noting that regardless of the Magento merchant’s location, they’re able to utilize the Magento Amazon Sales Channel Extension to list their products in the Amazon UK Marketplace. This already holds true for the other territories where the Amazon Sales Channel extension is already available, including the US, Canada and Mexico.

Other annoucements from MagentoLive Europe 2019 include:

  • Early Access Program for Product Recommendations Powered by Adobe Sensei

This will be directly integrated into Magento Commerce and accessible through the Magento admin.

  • Magento Commerce on Microsoft Azure

Now available on both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) so merchants have the flexibility to pick the cloud provider of their choice.

  • Adobe Stock Integration with Magento

The highly anticipated feature will provide a searchable interface within the Magento admin to discover, preview and embed licensed stock images within the platform.

  • General Availability of Magento Commerce 2.3.3 and Magento Open Source 2.3.3

Substantial performance improvements, as well as security enhancements, which allow Magento customers to remain compliant with new directives and regulations. Yotpo’s leading customer ratings, reviews and visual marketing capabilities and Google Shopping Ads, which allows merchants to take advantage of Google’s ad network, now bundled into the core code.
