Following a series of Top UK Marketplaces Rankings Tracker articles back in 2018, we are once again going to track the marketplaces over the next year starting off today with a snapshot before the crucial Black Friday and the Christmas trading period. We aim to track the runners and riders and would expect all marketplaces to see a boost in traffic when we report back in three months time, so today we’re publishing the baseline with the three months Top UK Marketplaces Rankings Tracker up to October 2019.
Data is taken from SimilarWeb and Alexa. Neither are 100% accurate but what they will reveal is a standardised measurement we can use to track increases or decreases in traffic overtime.
This series is sponsored by OnBuy.com, but their metrics will be measured in exactly the same way as the other marketplaces featured. Data for this post was gathered from SimilarWeb and Alexa on the 17th November 2019.

Interesting article.
I understand that this isn’t 100% accurate but amazon put unique visitors to Amazon.co.uk at around 35m per month.
Nice one! This is good data! What other explanation is there for Chinese traffic on Amazon UK?! Would it be shoppers? Good to see OnBuy is making some big gains.
Nice article. I’d be interested to see the stats for ManoMano
