The Amazon Vine program gives brands the ability get get reviews from the most trusted Amazon reviewers in exchange for free new and pre-release items.
Amazon invites customers to become Vine Voices based on their reviewer rank, which is a reflection of the quality and helpfulness of their reviews as judged by other Amazon customers. Vine members receive free products that have been submitted to the programme by participating vendors and are expected to test and submit genuine reviews. The vendor cannot influence, modify or edit the reviews but it can be a great way to boost your products attractiveness to consumers as well as boosting visibility.
There are substantial costs to the vendor – supply the free product but also covering Amazon’s costs for product distribution. However, get the Amazon Vine program right and it can pay dividends from a major sales boost.
To participate in Amazon Vine, you’ll need to be:
- A professional seller
- An authorised brand representative
- Registered in the Amazon Brand Registry
