There is a new Etsy ad campaign highlighting the heart of Etsy – their independent makers and curators.

The Etsy ad campaign features 14 Etsy sellers and it’s being airing everywhere, on global streaming platforms, social media, and across 25 TV networks in the United States.

The ads are tagged “There are millions of people making incredible things from home. People with the skill, the imagination and the ability to create joy and share it with the world. They’re on Etsy. Always Open. Still making.”

If the ‘Always Open’ rings a bell, it’s because ‘Always Open on eBay‘ was started in the US in 2018. However the phrase always open hasn’t got dibs on it and at this moment in time it fits the campaign perfectly, highlighting that while much of offline retail is closed, Etsy is Always Open.

This is just one way Etsy are bringing more traffic to the marketplace. Right at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, they pledged to invest $5 million in Offsite Ads credits to promote Etsy sellers’ products. This is at no cost to Etsy sellers. Etsy are standing by their word spending millions of dollars on advertising to spread the word that Etsy sellers are open for business and help bring more buyers to your shop.
