VAT Services on Amazon free for a year

No primary category set

VAT Services on Amazon allows you to spend more time on your business and less on VAT. With VAT Services on Amazon, you complete VAT registration, filing and submission in Seller Central. Amazon works with global tax service provider Avalara to provide this service in United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic.

It’s worth noting that the service does not support VAT filings in the country of your company registration, so you’ll still have to complete your domestic return.

The annual price is €400 per country for your Amazon channel transactions but Amazon are currently offering the service free for the first year of subscription which could save you up to €2,800 this year.

If you are required to be VAT registered in a VAT Services on Amazon supported country, your VAT registration number for this country is included as part of your purchase of one year of VAT filing services for this country.

The €400 VAT Services on Amazon per country fee covers:

  • VAT registration number (if required)
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual VAT filings as required by subscribed country
  • Intrastat reporting
  • EC Sales List reporting
  • Locally required reporting

“For a limited time, VAT Services on Amazon is free for the first year of subscription. The programme is a VAT compliance solution that allows you to manage your VAT registration and filing obligations online through Seller Central. EU-based sellers can now use the program for up to seven countries: United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic. Learn more about VAT Services on Amazon.”
