DHL Express have announced that they will be adding four 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) to their fleet of aircraft as part of the logistics company’s efforts to continue modernizing and growing its fleet with cost-efficient, eco-friendlier and reliable freighters. The aircraft are converted from passenger to freighter configuration by Boeing to fit the needs of DHL Express and meet the rising global demand for express services.

DHL are not the only company adding aircraft to their fleets, This year Amazon announced they would also be adding 12 new Boeing 767-300 planes by 2021 to help with capacity demands for items and vital PPE. Interestingly despite having a smaller amount of aircraft Amazon’s much larger order of Boeing’s could show the speed at which their logistical network is growing in comparison to other companies.
