Shipstation have announced their partnership with Mercado Libre, a successful payment system in Latin America. The team-up will help Shipstation merchants scale their business internationally by selling and shipping to customers in the region.
Many challenges currently exist around the globe due to Coronavirus and that is especially evident in Latin America where positive COVID-19 cases are high. Ecommerce could be more crucial than ever for the economy in the regions recovery phase.

According to Shipstation, merchants will gain access to 600 million Latin American buyers through Mercado Libre the fourth largest marketplace in the world, and the largest in Latin America. Mercado Libre is said to give its sellers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a large and growing e-commerce community in Latin America and ShipStation merchants will now have an opening into the the market along with access to its e-commerce and payment tools, such as a centralized seller account, simplified end-to-end shipping solutions, and the ability to finance in installments by MELI.
