“We launched Shopify Studios with a mission to highlight the ups and downs of starting a business in a way that’s honest and unfiltered, showcasing the diverse voices in entrepreneurship. ‘I Quit’ exemplifies the content we’re dedicated to creating by shedding light on inspiring stories that represent the types of remarkable entrepreneurs we’ve been supporting for more than a decade. The world needs more entrepreneurs, and we hope that “I Quit” inspires more people to take that leap.”
– Harley Finkelstein, Shopify COO
In the show viewers will watch newlyweds diving full-time into their dress shirt company; a pair of dads launching an outdoor cooler business (with their families in tow); a couple taking big risks to follow their dream of owning a sports team; three best friends planning to launch a wine brand catered to Black women after seeing underrepresentation in the industry; parents looking to build a BBQ sauce empire; and the daughter of a Brazilian immigrant who leaves her Wall Street job to build a business on the beloved Brazilian truffle ‘brigaderios.’ The series could be a very interesting watch for anyone with similar stories or experiences or even those wishing to gain a bit of extra knowledge and guidance in their own entrepreneurial endeavors.
