DoorDash launch online store with 30 minute delivery service

Watch out Amazon, DoorDash have launched a new service in the U.S. that will have products delivered to consumers from all their favorite local places in as little as 30 minutes.

During the Coronavirus epidemic, DoorDash became a critical lifeline to many consumers who needed everyday products delivered to them safely. DoorDash made some critical changes to help them meet demands and aid businesses. The convenience category was launched in April and since then, 2,500 convenience shops across more than 1,100 cities nationwide are included. In May Main Street Strong was introduced, giving Restaurants on DoorDash the chance to remain open during the pandemic.

Now DoorDash have launched DashMart, a new type of online convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites in one location ready to be delivered to consumers within as little as 30 minutes! The ridiculously short delivery time on thousands of products will challenge both online marketplaces and traditional Brick-and-Mortar convenience stores who are yet to offer such a quick delivery service. On DashMart, consumers will find thousands of convenience, grocery, and restaurant items, from ice cream and chips, to cough medicine and dog food, to spice rubs and packaged desserts.

“Brothers BBQ has had an incredible relationship with DoorDash for the past 4 years. DoorDash has been an ideal partner for us and helped us bring Denver’s Best BBQ to the mouths of many! We are thrilled to be a part of DoorDash’s newest channel, DashMart. DashMart will provide Brothers BBQ with a new distribution channel for bottles of our made-from-scratch BBQ Sauces and BBQ Seasoning. We can’t wait to expand the distribution of our signature sauces and dry rub into the hands of those that live in the Denver community, our home for the past 22 years. We are grateful for the strong and supportive relationship we’ve maintained with DoorDash over the years, which has grown even stronger during the recent months.”
