No primary category set

Sustainability experts Green Story and Fashion news platform Fashion United have partnered up to launch a new sustainable fashion marketplace in early September which will help connect sustainable brands and buyers.

Green Story will help sustainable brands find their home on the marketplace giving brands access to a network of over 30,000 buyers to connect, share, and collaborate with. The marketplace will supposedly provide a place to showcase upcoming collections, sharing brand stories, and connect with buyers globally.

Fashion United will provide their experience, as a large and continuously growing online fashion platform with a readership of over 60,000 brands from 30 different countries. They are proud to create a partnership that will push sustainability and provide a platform for sustainability with all the relevant advice, information, and news.

“Let us help your brand react quickly by bringing everything you need to your fingertips. Gain exposure to all things fashion, learn what other players are doing and optimize your offerings. We’re fast-forwarding towards a more sustainable, agile and collaborative future.”

“Whether you are convinced or curious, click here to learn more! Join Green Story and get an exclusive package for the marketplace community; be a part of our movement. Sign up by emailing: [email protected] and mention that you are a Green Story partner.”

In a survey last year just over half of consumers want to see a more sustainable fashion industry. One key finding in this survey was consumers not being able to clearly identify which sellers are sustainable. Despite many sellers already taking steps to become more sustainable, the message is not getting through to the public and almost half of the respondents said that it was challenging to know which fashion merchants are committed to sustainable retailing. Marketplaces prioritizing sustainability will help solve this issue.
