Avalara will also be speaking to trade and customs specialists, as well as legal experts on what you need to do now to prepare for post-Brexit trading and how to overcome new cross-border trading challenges.

Day 2: Wednesday 16 Sep 2020 – MTD & 2021 marketplace reforms

Gain essential insight on the UK government’s Making Tax Digital agenda and the reforms to Marketplace tax legislations that will impact businesses in 2021.

With a keynote from HMRC, we will share essential insight on the UK government’s Making Tax Digital agenda, and how businesses can get ready for Phase 2.

The OECD will kick off our briefings, discussing their approach to ensuring fair global taxation and how they are trying to harmonise regimes across the world.

With the growth of ecommerce and the boom in globalisation we will be joined by BDO, KPMG and GFS to discuss the challenges of international trading, from the complexities of trading with the US, to the Indian GST and how Brazil is trying to reform the world’s most complex tax system.
