DPD have been awarded Delivery Innovation of the Year at the Retail Insider Transforming Retail Awards 2020. The awards highlight the most exciting innovations to happen in the retail sector over the past 12 months.
DPD won the Delivery Innovation of the Year award for their unique app, Your DPD which gives consumers more control than any other carrier over how, where and when they receive a parcel. As a result, DPD has been able to significantly increase the number of parcels delivered right first time.

DPD have also recently launched Design Space on the Your DPD platform. The in-app forum allows the public to suggest, share and vote in polls on new ideas to improve the DPD experience still further.
50,000 people are now actively engaged on Design Space, creating one of the world’s biggest focus groups. To date, around 4,000 ideas have been submitted and over 170,000 polls completed. Most importantly, a series of new ideas have been launched as a result, including Prove Yourself – which makes it easier to prove identity when collecting a high value parcel from a DPD site and Message the Driver – which allows consumers to contact the driver with useful information, such as how to find their house.
