It’s Amazon Prime Day 2020 (at last)

Three months later than usual it’s Amazon Prime Day 2020 today (and tomorrow as it’s now a two day shopping feast instead of one). Delayed due to the pandemic, Amazon are probably hoping that Prime Day will be the start of the holiday shopping season and drag some sales forward to ease the strain on couriers nearer to Christmas. This past weekend to celebrate Amazon Prime Day 2020, Amazon hosted a star-studded live streamed event featuring chart-topping artist Lewis Capaldi, BBC Sound of 2020 winner and Amazon Music Ones To Watch 2020 artist Celeste, and Welsh artist and producer Cate Le Bon for ‘Prime Day Live’, who each returned to a small scale venue to give a special ‘behind closed doors’ performance in support of the Music Venue Trust, alongside show host and broadcaster, Gemma Cairney.
