It’s here at last! It’s Linn Academy 2020 and available online with Day 1 kicking off at 2pm this Tuesday, the 20th of October.


Just announced is a ‘What is next for retail? The importance of brand experience’ session where Jason joins Darin Rabb – SVP, Global Brand Experience at lululemon and Traci Inglis – D2C eCommerce Expert, to look at the data behind the shift to ecommerce through 2020 and how brands will need to step up their brand experience to keep customers in their physical retail stores. Check in at 5pm on Wednesday for this session.


At 3pm on Tuesday, you can check in with Ian Jindal, Editor in Chief of our sister publication Internet Retailing. Ian will unpack the key findings from Internet Retailing’s Marketplaces report, including growing opportunities and identifying the key information marketplace retailers need to know for 2021.


5pm on Tuesday is time to sit down for an ecommerce deep-dive with BrewDog, As an instrumental contributor to BrewDog’s growth, David McDowall, COO at BrewDog, will discuss what it’s like leading the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of a world class brand.


Wednesday at 2pm is the time for a sit down with Sara Lone, Research Director at RetailX, to unpack key findings from the RetailX global retail report, including key trends and data from global markets. She identifies both the biggest opportunities and permanent changes retailers will face in 2020 peak and beyond.

Google Shopping

Linn Academy is famed for attracting the biggest names from the hottest online properties and this year is no different with John Kennard, Strategic Partnerships at Google sharing how to expand your reach with Google Shopping selling tools. When over 85% of shoppers are turning to the internet for their purchases, retailers need to ensure their products are visible. John shares a step-by-step guide on maximising visibility with Google Shopping. Check in with Google at 5pm on Wednesday.

Facebook Shops

The other must attend session is at 5pm on Tuesday when Dani Cook, Marketplace Partnerships at Facebook takes a look at what should be your newest digital storefront – Facebook Shops. Discover how social commerce is maximising on customer opportunities within social channels, with examples from retailers using the platform.
