Today it has been announced that Vinted has acquired United Wardrobe uniting both second-hand fashion platforms and strengthening the company’s European growth.

The Lithuania-based startup Vinted has successfully expanded across Europe with an inspiring platform where second-hand fashion lovers from 5 different European countries come together. The next step for both companies was to join forces and make second-hand fashion the first choice worldwide.

Almost a year ago Vinted raised a staggering €128 million in their latest equity funding round which was to be used in supporting the second-hand fashion site by furthering its rapid growth throughout Europe. Vinteds recent acquisition shows that they are taking steps to achieve that growth at a time when buying and selling pre-owned items online safely and efficiently is vital especially whilst customers are becoming more aware of the choices they make when purchasing fashion goods.

Benefits for Vinted sellers:

  • Selling on Vinted is completely free: No more selling costs! And as part of a larger, more diverse community, you sell faster and more.
  • A larger community: With buyers and sellers from more than 5 different countries, you will have found your next second-hand fashion gem in no time!

If you’ve been selling on The United Wardrobe app and website, you still have a few weeks to complete all open orders before it closes in mid-December. Until then, you can easily transfer your account to Vinted. Your items, profile, favorites, reviews and followers will all be transferred to Vinted.
