An online marketplace selling only plastic-free things is helping push sustainable ecommerce whilst supporting small businesses. The online marketplace, plasticfreethings.com was founded by Berkshire based entrepreneur Sarah Cruse who has a background in zero waste website management.
The eco-friendly shopping destination supports small, local, and ethical businesses whose products are free of single-use plastic, are plastic packaging free, made in the UK, and meet specific category requirements. Not only is this marketplace meeting the sustainability demands of consumers but it is providing a place for sellers whose products are helping create a happier healthier world.
“I love being in nature, hiking, drinking tea and laughing with family and friends. I am obsessed with reading about the environment; seeing what we have done to our planet deeply saddens me. I hope that Plastic-Free Things will inspire us all to make necessary changes to help turn this around, one piece of plastic at a time.”
