Last year, eBay pulled the plug on eBay Open and instead held a 25th Anniversary Celebration marking the world’s favourite marketplace turning a quarter of a century old. Naturally in a pandemic, the 25th anniversary event was held online and for those that love eBay events, this year the biggest eBay extravaganza of the year is back with eBay Open Online being held on the 4th-6th of August 2021.
eBay Open Online is 100% free to attend and there won’t even be any travel and accommodation costs to worry about. Expect insightful executive presentations, deep learning in breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and eBay says… a lot of fun.
Invitations and more details will be coming in May, but you can expect the main purpose of attending to be two days of conversations with eBay executives, expert advice, and tactical guidance tailored for your business, this virtual conference will keep you ahead of the curve. While it’s not been confirmed, we would be surprised if you don’t get the opportunity to hear from eBay’s (still relatively new) CEO, Jamie Iannone.

In 2021, eBay Open Online will be replacing eBay UpFronts. Traveling to cities around North America to meet sellers in their home towns is a core part of UpFronts, and eBay hope to resume these events as soon as it is safe for everyone to do so.
