Yodel: New Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality

As one of the UK’s biggest couriers, Yodel have a hugely varied operation from drivers to warehouse and admin to security. Plus of course at the moment with the Covid pandemic, Health and Safety has never been higher on the agenda of every business in the country. That’s why Reece Cherry, Yodel’s new Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality has a big job on his hands.

Reece brings extensive knowledge and experience of health and safety risk management to his new role, having worked in the sector for more than 15 years across a range of industries including farming, logistics, and food and drink manufacturing. Most recently, Reece lead the Health, Safety and Environment functions across the EMEA region and prior to this, Global operation for Kraft Heinz.

Health and safety is paramount at Yodel and the business continually works to create the safest working environment possible for its colleagues across its 50 heavily operational sites in the UK. From maintaining safe systems of work, to rolling out training courses and, most recently, creating a safety gate system in partnership with Cartwright, Yodel strives towards a zero-accident culture.
