Intellectual Property Accelerator launched on Amazon EU

If you have a cracking idea for a product, have invested in research and development, and are now ready to launch your product and start selling but haven’t yet got a trademark registration, Amazon is here to help with their Intellectual Property Accelerator.

This month, Amazon announced the launch of Intellectual Property Accelerator in Europe, to make it easier and more cost effective for small and medium-sized businesses to register IP rights and start protecting their brands. The Amazon Intellectual Property Accelerator connects you with a curated network of trusted IP law firms and trademark experts, providing support with all aspects of the trademark filing process with the EU and UK Intellectual Property Offices.

Amazon provides businesses using IP Accelerator with access to brand protections and brand building features in Amazon’s stores, to better protect and grow their brand months, or even years, before their trademark registration officially issues. Brands will benefit from automated brand protections, which proactively block bad listings from Amazon’s stores, increased authority over product data on Amazon and access to the Report a Violation tool, a powerful tool to search for and report bad listings that have made it past Amazon’s automated protections.

Amazon say that using IP Accelerator takes the guesswork out of the trademark filing process. These law firms know the ins-and-outs of IP and can save businesses both money, and time — a proper, well drafted trademark application can significantly reduce the time required to secure a trademark registration. Amazon does not charge businesses to use IP Accelerator—they only pay their law firm for the work performed at the pre-negotiated rates.

  1. I’ve watched Tamebay for a few weeks now and had expected there might be a post as regards the Amazon VTR metric being implemented from 19th April. Any clear, definite information regarding the shipping methods that will be accepted after this date

Does this site have any definitive information on this?

  2. Sure – any of the following so long as there’s at least one tracking scan recorded by Amazon:
