Shopware Markets now available with eBay & Amazon connectors

Today sees the release of Shopware 6.4, the latest version of shopware AG’s software line. With this release a highly anticipated feature is added to the software: Shopware Markets. This new service was created in collaboration with Shopware’s partner brickfox and enables shop operators to seamlessly connect their shop to the Amazon and eBay marketplaces – making the transfer of data, information and processes as convenient as possible.

New online shops, in particular, face the challenge of acquiring visitors and ultimately customers. This has a lot to do with customer behaviour: many customers don’t begin their searches on search engines like Google, but rather directly on well-known marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. Online shop operators can capitalise on this and sell their products on marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay as well. Retailers, however, often see the extra effort of having to list their products and handle sales outside their usual processes as cumbersome. This new service from Shopware removes these hurdles.

Connection to eBay and Amazon

This new service allows you to follow along with every process directly in Shopware: from offering products to importing orders and sending shipping notifications. Orders appear directly in the admin, just like they do in the usual Shopware 6 sales channels. In addition to being more transparent transferring data is even easier. Retailers now also have the option of connecting their shop to international marketplaces, giving them the exciting opportunity to test foreign markets.

Shopware Markets will be available in various price packages: Shopware Markets, Shopware Markets Plus and Shopware Markets Pro. The Shopware Market Plus and Pro price packages allow shop operators to transfer an unlimited number of products to the marketplace. Transaction fees are also reduced in Shopware Markets Pro. So, this change makes sense if a particularly large number of orders is generated via the marketplaces.

Simple setup

Shopware Markets is available with immediate effect and can be set up and operated directly from the Shopware admin. If you’re selling on the respective marketplace already, there is an option to include existing products so that you don’t have to delete any of them in order to synchronise the shop.

Shopware Markets is available from Shopware version 6.4 onwards. More information can be found on the Shopware blog.
