Karakorum is a social enterprise which sells home décor, specialising in handmade artisan crafts made by craftspeople across Iran, Laos, Kenya and beyond.
Natasha founded Karakorum after a life changing two-year trip around the world, which inspired her to set up a business selling ethically sourced local handmade crafts using only the finest sustainable materials. The one thing that struck me from Natasha’s video diary was when she said “Behind every item that we buy, there’s a person. And that person has a name and a story and what we purchase has the ability to directly affect them”.
